Bill has tried cases in both the state and federal courts since his admission to the Massachusetts Bar in 1988. His practice includes matters involving commercial disputes, non-competition law, as well as personal injury matters for both plaintiffs and insurers. Bill has been appointed by the Court as a Receiver, Liquidating Trustee and an Escrow Agent in matters pending in Worcester Superior Court. Bill also represents clients in all facets of real estate matters including land use litigation, real estate litigation matters and commercial real estate transactions.

Bill is a 1983 cum laude graduate of The University of Massachusetts-Amherst and a cum laude graduate of Suffolk University Law School (evening division) where he was the Technical Editor of the Transnational Law Journal and the 1985 winner of the McLaughlin First Year Oral Advocacy Tournament.

Bill has served on the Holden Planning Board for over 20 years and is a Director of the Worcester Regional Research Bureau. Bill has been involved as a legal advisor or coach for numerous Worcester area youth sports leagues including the Greendale Flag Football League, Holden Little League, CRA Basketball League, Wachusett Lacrosse, and St. Joe's Youth Hoop.

Bill has been named a "Super Lawyer" by Boston Magazine for the years 2006, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016.
