Attorney Petersen has extensive experience representing both lenders and borrowers in a wide range of commercial financing transactions. He also represents the firm's business clients on a variety of matters including business formation and governance, business sales and acquisitions and real estate transfers. In addition to his work with the firm's clients, Neil actively serves as a board member for a number of local non-profits. He also coaches the Moot Court team for his alma mater, Holy Cross. Prior to joining the firm, Neil was an associate with the firm of Riemer & Braunstein, LLP in Boston.

Community involvement includes 3 years as a board member of the Worcester Young Businessmen's Association (2012-present), where Neil serves as a board member for a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the successful growth and enrichment of the Worcester business community, organizing monthly events and furthering the organization's charitable endeavors.

Neil is a Corporator for Greater Worcester Community Foundation (2011-present), where he serves as a volunteer corporator for a local charitable organization dedicated to enhancing the greater Worcester community as a whole, attending and voting at regular meetings and supporting the organization's programs including attending site visits at grantee locations and preparing progress reports as part of the "Outreach and Education" program.

As a member of the Professional Advisor's Network ("PAN") Sub-Committee for the GWCF (2011-present), Neil serves as ambassador for the Greater Worcester Community Foundation within the professional business community.

Neil was Chairman of the Boy Scouts of America Mohegan Council Golf Tournament Planning Committee (2013-2014), where he organized and managed a successful charitable golf outing, netting a substantial profit for the Council.

As Coach of the College of the Holy Cross Moot Court Team (2013-present), Neil volunteers for a team of over 20 college students competing in a legal advocacy skills competition simulating arguments before the Supreme Court; oversaw three teams of two students who advanced to the American Collegiate Moot Court Association's national championship tournament held at Arizona State University in January, with one team finishing among the top 20 teams in the nation.
